Discs for seed drill

Bellota Agrisolutions offers all types of seeder disc, whether maize seeder discs, direct drilling seeder discs or for any other disc seeder. Among its range we can highlight flat discs, assemblies, wavy discs, turbo discs, etc

The importance of seed disc homogeneity
In sowing, every detail counts. Disc homogeneity in a seed drill is fundamental, especially in direct drilling equipment. Achieving uniform sowing translates directly into a quality harvest.

What does "disc homogeneity" mean?
It means that all discs work consistently and precisely. This is measured according to three key criteria:

Disc diameter: All must have the same dimension to operate at the same depth.

Disc edge: The same angle and edge depth ensures effective cuts.

Disc hardness: Uniform hardness prevents uneven wear and guarantees regular furrows.

Types of discs in a seed drill
Coulter discs: These are the front discs responsible for preparing the ground before depositing the seed. They generally exceed 18 inches in diameter and can have a flat, wavy or turbo design depending on the type of sowing and soil conditions.

Turbo discs have straight or curved tangential waves.

The greater the wave height, the greater the tillage work performed.

Opener discs
Responsible for opening the furrow where the seed will be placed. They are usually flat discs and their edge is essential for cutting the soil with precision and achieving good seed penetration.

At Bellota Agrisolutions we take all these details into account to manufacture discs of great precision and durability.
