UNIVERSAL PLOUGHSHARES

Bellota plough shares are laminated, meaning the steel fibres are aligned in the cutting direction, improving wear resistance. Furthermore, Bellota plough shares have a greater thickness on the back, increasing the share's service life. Manufactured in BORODUR boron steel, exclusive to Bellota.

Shares for mouldboard ploughs

The plough is a machine that offers the following advantages:

- Facilitates subsequent operations by leaving the soil clean.
- Promotes nitrification, especially in grasslands.
- In soils with dense grass, these are better covered
- Facilitates the elimination of soil parasites.

On the other hand, mouldboard ploughs carry out slow work that requires high power.

The mouldboard plough should be used with moisture slightly above the so-called "plastic limit" of the soil, so that the worked strip of earth can deform without breaking.

Advantages of Bellota plough shares

- Longer service life: thanks to their greater thickness at the back, our shares exceed the durability of other brands on the market.
- Superior flexibility: the rolling process aligns the steel fibres in the cutting direction, improving wear resistance.
- Original geometry: designed with the same shape as original parts, they guarantee a perfect fit and optimum performance.
- Solid connection: The connection between the point and the share is completely firm, preventing premature breakage.

Types of plough shares

By changing the shape of the share, plough penetration into the soil can be increased. Ploughs with chisel points and duck-foot shares work best in hardened soils, as they reduce share wear. The disadvantage they have is if stones appear on which they catch, which can cause breakage. The most common plough shares are those with a reversible point.
